SNOW TRIP

SNOW TRIP to Payson
President's Day Weekend

We went up Sunday night and stayed in this little hotel for 65 bucks! Awesome!!! First trip I ever braught less than 5 toys for the kids. This truck was one of them. Gunner went back and forth in the walkway with his truck. He loved it!

We made a pit stop at Wal Mart to find snow boots for Katie. They were out! So we got fluffy brown ones and sprayed them with water proof spray. Worked great! These are random Katie pouting pictures. She sure knows how to milk it!

Maddi crashed out!
In the morning we met up with our friends the Browns and ate breakfast at Denny's.

Their little boy Ashton is so cute. Every time you would take a picture he would say... Ahh cute let me see!

#1 Rule Don't Eat Yellow Snow

Maddi was so brave. She kept taking off on her own, we had to keep telling her how important it was to stay close. But Maddi is a very independant "do things my way on my time" child. Don't know where she gets that from?? Ha! She did great, climbing to the steepest hills and crusing down!

Adam looks so proud... but I built 90% of this snowman. He just cut the branches off a tree for arms. Pretty wicked arms though! After the snow we ate at the Pizza Factory. Yummy! Gunner got his first taste of Soda. OK while I was pregnant I craved Mtn. Dew and Hot Dogs... that was when I knew he was a boy. So first taste out of womb!
MY little 4yr old Katie is reading at a 3rd grade level. We can't even spell secrets anymore! She kept reading this cup over and over again like a broken record. "We toss em, They're Awesome! Pizza Factory"

And It's OFF!!!!

She doesn't look nervous at all??? HA! She was so nervous. She was holding her breath the whole time.We barely got a smile out of her. Even though it's off she is still a little unsure.
We waited patiently while Katie got more X-Rays. Maddi was pretty proud that she got to hold Katie's cast while we were waiting.

Happy to be free!
Although she looks pretty happy here, she felt a little sick to her stomach driving home. And asked if she could just lay on the couch for a while. She didn't even want lunch. She perked up once we got home.
I told Katie we could take a long bath as soon as she got it off. She could hardley wait!
Katie's arm is still not completely healed, so she has to wear a wrist splint for the next 4 weeks. The Dr. asked if she was trustworthy... Adam and I both simultaneously, with hesitation in our voices said, "with what?" She is still not allowed to do any rough housing, bycycle riding, jumping, climbing, hanging.... etc. You know normal Katie stuff. The Dr. meant could she be trusted to be careful with her arm. Uh.... isn't that how she broke it in the first place? We will see how it goes.

Watch Out Ladies

Watch Out Ladies, It's a Kriloff
IT'S A BOY!!
Weighing in at 8oz OK this is our little joke... The umb. cord was in front of the "boy parts" and I had asked her to make sure that she got a picture of the "boy parts" so just for fun she altered the picture a little bit!

A Little Yawn!

What the girls think: When we told the girls it was a boy Katie said it was "Perfect" and Maddi said, " How did I know it was going to be a boy?" Later I asked her how she felt about it, and she said "Love". That's a good sign!

Katie is so excited. She doesn't even care if it shares her Birthday anymore. As long as the boy gets a spiderman birthday cake and she gets a princess cake!

BUSTED

I know it doesn't look that terrible, but it hurts so bad! I couldn't walk last night, and today has been a challenge. Yesterday I was working on my nursery lesson in the office when Katie came in pretending to be the baby. She had a bottle and wanted me to feed her, and then she pretended to fall asleep and wanted me to put her in her bed. Just as I got up, I caught my foot on the chair and started to fall. The jumparoo was right in front of us, and me trying to protect Katie's broken arm, and my tummy tried to fall without hurting either of them, and I ended up busting my toes. The sad but funny part is, that I fell last week at my parents house, simply walking. I fell right into the rock bed on my left side. My entire leg and arm was bruised. I tell ya whatever brain cells were left after Gunner, are now being used by baby #4. I really don't know if we will survive.

WORD GIRL

My kids are the best little rhymers in the world. It's one of the funnest games to play in the car. We either think of a word or make one up and then rhyme with it. Yesterday Kaite and I were having some Mommy/Katie time just goofing around when Katie came up with a wonderful rhyming word. "Bucket" Here's a little rhyming game to help you think of what word she might have said. Bucket Bo Bucket bannana nanna Fo "F^*$%#@" Bucket. I tried so hard to hold in the laughter, she was totally innocent, and couldn't figure out why Dad was mad. I had to explain that sometimes words can be bad even if we don't know they are.

TWO DOWN

Maddi looses tooth number 2. She was just as excited as the first one! Tooth Fairy braught her a whole dollar, and we had to call everyone and tell them. The problem with the 2nd one is that she thought everyone would send her cards and bring her presents for the 2nd one, since they did on the 1st. I had to explain that the 1st tooth is very special! Maddi lost her tooth while eating a raw potatoe, a little quirky thing my kids got from me. The girls just being silly!
