Full of it!

So I had to go to the store today...(this is a funny story) and the lady at the cash register says, "You aren't going to have that baby right here are you?" I smiled and said, "Oh No, I still have a month to go." To which she replies, "Do you have more than one in there?" My immediate thought was, "Boy isn't she just full of compliments today. I wonder if she even knows how rude she is being?" But feeling confident in myself I ignore the rudeness and answer, "Nope just one" Then she goes on to tell me how huge her daughter got with her last one and she had a 9lb baby, so I will probablly have a 9lb baby too. I started to explain how I didn't have time to loose the weight from the last one before I had this one, but then decided I didn't really care what she thought. I did however get in the car and started to think (I could do this since I had no children with me at the time) why do people choose this time to be so rude. I always get little comments like this. Do I have a sign that says, "kick me while I'm down" Seriously... So here I am being brave enough to post my hugeness, maybe I can get a few more fun comments!

Don't Want to Keep It

Adam walks into the kitchen and see's Maddi with her arm out of her sleeve. Adam says, Maddi is your sun burn hurting? Maddi replies, "Ya, I don't want to keep it if it's gonna hurt"

OH WOW

Maddi learned how to tie her shoe!!! I was so proud of her! A little bummed that after I worked with her for so long on it that it was Dad that actually got her to do it, but greatful that he is just that good of a Dad.

She is also now at 123 books. I never thought we would even get to 100, so I am so super proud of her. What an amazing little girl I have!!!

Easter

Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Fishy's.

Umm... and no I don't have any cute family or even children pictures in their Easter Outfits. It's been one of those months. Gunner turning one has braught a whole new set of challenges. It seems impossible to get anything done anymore. 4 Children is most likely the max for us. Although my spanish friend says we have to have at least 6 because Adam and I make such handsome children. I have to agree with that!!!

• A Better Day is when I showered, got dressed in something other than sweat pants and put make up on

• A Good Day is when I slept more than 4 consistent hours.
  
• A Better Day is when I slept one minute more than that.
  
• A Good Day is when I got a load of dishes done.
  
• A Better Day is when I get a load of dishes, laundry and maybe pick up one room.
• A Good Day is when I don't burst out in tears and run screaming from the house that I can't do it anymore.
  
• A Better Day is when I don't.
  
• A Good Day is when I get 10minutes of me time.
  
• A Better Day is when I get an hour.
  
• A Good Day is when I didn't eat ice cream, cookies, donughts, or cake for breakfast
  
• A Better Day is when I ate healthy all day.
  
• A Good Day is when I get to count running errands and chores as excersize
  
• A Better Day is when I actually do excersize.
  
• A Good Day is when I get a massage, my hair done, a pedi, talked with friends, watched a movie, ate Ah So, didn't get upset with Adam
  
• A Better Day is when that's not a dream.

Hiking with the BOYS

Recently there was a big hike to the Grand Canyon. Adam and his brother's were so excited to go. They had been planning it for almost a year. But some family things came up and Adam and Sean weren't able to go. So they took the boys and settled for the wind caves.

Here Chicky Chicky....

And it's FINALLY DONE!!!!

What started out as, "Hey, I have a friend that is giving us chickens for free. I can make a chicken coop in like a day or two out of the old scrap wood in the backyard. Do you want to?" Ended up as a 3 week project consuming all of Adam's spare time, and over $200.00 in unexpected parts.... I was less than thrilled, you could say, a less than pleasant experience for me. Maddi and Me

Maddison has been working really hard winning a Gold Medal in the book contest at school. You have to read over 100 books before MAY 11. She is aleady at 43 books. She has lists that she has to fill out and I told her that after she finishes each list she can have any special treat she wants. Maddi chose to have Mommy and Me time. So I took her to a nail salon and we got our nails done. It was so fun, and secretly I have been waiting for this day to come. I forgot my camera, and lucky for us our friend Bekah was going by with her camera phone. Thanks Bekah!!!

THE HORRIBLE FLU

Stomach Flu hit our house all at once. It was terrible! I was holding the bowl for the girls while I was puking myself.... we started about six at night and didn't get to sleep until 5 in the morning. Katie fell asleep with the Febreeze because she said it smelled like poo! She was right, there is puke and poo everywhere. The first night Katie was in the chair, Maddi was on the floor and Gunner was in the bed with Adam and I. The next night I slept on the floor with Gunner while Maddi and Katie were in the bed with Adam. Wanna guess at how long it will take me to finish all that laundry?
