Easter Sunday

Adam already changed out of his Easter Sunday clothes so he wasn't invited for the family Easter picture.

These pictures don't really show how cute their hair really was, but it was dang cute. Mom did a good job!

The Easter Egg Hunt

I'm sure like most families we have an ongoing traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Grandpa Peel has been running it for so long, I can't even remember a time we didn't have one. So at least a good 27 years. This year unfortunately I had to miss it, because I was in charge of Child of Record Baptisms and I had to speak. So Taylor was good enough to take pictures of my kids so I didn't have to miss out.
I let the girls pick out there Easter baskets this year. Katie had a hard time choosing. She first wanted a Winnie the Pooh and a snake one, but eventually settled on the pink camo. Her Daddy's girl I guess.

Maddi took a while to look at them all and then chose this Hello Kitty one and never changed her mind, even after I showed her all the different kinds to choose from. That's her mommy's girl!

What is his name- Adam
How long have you been together- We dated for a year in highschool and then we have been married for 6years. There was two years in between we didn't see or talk to eachother, because Adam was too busy with all his other girlfriends.
How long did you date- A year in high school and 2 months before we got married
How old his he- sometimes I think he's 14 but technically 27
Who eats more- Adam, he was taught to clean your plate. So he is always finishing what I don't. I don't care, becuase I would rather have a big boy then a skinny one. But he's been banned from eating at Flo's.... last time he ate there, he smelled for like a week!
Who said I love you first- I don't remember.... probablly me.... love's an action not a word so who cares who said it first
Who is taller- Adam, thank goodness. I could never have married a shorty!
Who can sing better- Me, Adam not so good.
Who is smarter- Adam is definitely the smarty in the family. He just lacks common sense.
Who does the laundry- Adam would roll over and die before he had to do laundry. If he ever runs out of clean underwear... he just wears the old ones again. Which I think has only happened once. Laundry is my forte!
Who pays the bills- I do, since Adam married me he stopped worrying about money. He leaves that special chore to me.
Who sleeps on the right side- Me, when we first got married we had a strict line down the middle that I wasn't allowed to cross except on special occasion.... but now I pretty much take 75% of the bed. And Adam is not allowed to cross the pillows without special invitation.
Who cooks dinner- Mostly me and my friends; Kraft, Betty Crocker, and Staufer's, dinners are rare at are house. Since Adam is gone most the time. It's not really ever anything fancy. But sometimes!
Who kissed who first- Adam, but he doesn't remember it.
Who proposed- Adam, he took me out to Tempe Town Lakes on a boat with Quizno's and Martinelli's and after he popped the question he turned on his idea of romantic music (Marvin Gaye's, Let's Get it On).... I almost had to say no.
Who has more friends- Everybody Loves Adam, but I think we are equal on the friends.
Who is more sensitive- I am... I don't think Adam will ever be the "sensitive" type.
Who has more siblings? Me
Who wears the pants? I let Adam think he does, but I do for sure.

My Girlfriends

My girlfriends and I went out to Serrano's and

they braught me presents for our little brother.

I am scheduled to go into the hospital next week.

I can't believe he's going to be here so soon.

So much to do and so little time.

Zoo & Pier 49

MY SUPRISE BABY SHOWER

My mother in law, bless her heart, tried really hard to throw me a "suprise" baby shower. Unfortunately, she put Adam on task force, so.... needless to say I knew about it pretty much from the begining. It was so great to have all my friends and family there. Everyone was so good to me, and I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful friends. It was really great! Thanks everybody for making it such a special day.

ZOO with the Cousins

Spring Break is here! We decided to be adventurous and take all the kids to the zoo. Even Taylor was a good sport to come along and help us all out. It was a gorgeous day, couldn't have asked for better weather.

Sting Ray Bay was lots of fun. The kids were all soaked but had a great time. We even got some under water video thanks to uncle Adam's cool camera
Hooray Michelle is out and about and looking hotter than ever! This week her levels are down and she doesn't have to go back into the hospital. What a trooper!

The Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter Egg Hunt with our friends at the park. The kids had a great time and I'm glad we did it. Thanks Mindee and Amy for putting it all together.

I wanna be like Pappa Fish

I CAUGHT YOU!!!! Katie is always putting soap & water in her hair. I scolded her a few times, but once finally asked her why she keeps doing this? She said she want's to be like Pappa Fishy. Apparently she saw him put gel in his hair one time... and now she thinks she want's to be just like him.
This time I caught her! But she is now only using water and not soap. Funny Katie girl. She loves her Pappa Fishy.

Dad & Katie's special "Pike"

Adam took Katie on a special Katie/Dad pike since he had taken Maddi a few days before on a special Maddi/Dad pike. This time he didn't forget the camera. So here are a few pic's. Katie had so much fun and she told her entire pre-school class and primary class all about it. She told them how sweaty Dad got and had to take off his shirt cause he was so stinky.

Beauty Parlor

Last week after school Maddi and I got to play beauty parlor. We had so much fun curling our hair and painting our nails. Dad took Katie on a "Pike" and when she got home she was so sad that she didn't get to play "booty pardor". It was so cute I had to at least paint her nails too.

I tried to download a new template. I even saved the old one.... but somehow it still won't change back to how I had it. I am so mad. DOWN WITH BLOGGER! Well I guess now I can re-create!

Adam's the bomb

My husband is pretty crazy. He bought his own explosive mixtures and took them out to the desert with the guys for some explosive fun. This is the video of him mixing, and shooting one of his bomb's. Believe it or not, this is one of the reasons I married him. At least this time he didn't get the car.

Circles

Today on the way home from church Maddi asked me what things are circles. I started naming some things, like clocks, pancakes, plates, cherries. Pretty soon the girls were thinking up their own things. I thought I would be tricky... and said trees. They both started laughing and said no, trees were not circles. I said, yes if you cut a tree in half and look down on it, you would see a circle. To which Maddi replied in her ("you are so dumb mom" voice) no, you would see a stump. I laughed so hard. What funny and smart children I have.
