Our Latest Adventure!

Paintball Anyone???
Adam went paintballing yesterday... He tripped and while trying to catch himself grabbed a piece of sheet metal. Note to self... don't grab the sheet metal! I got a phone call from my cousin Tyler, "so Adam fell and cut his hand, it's pretty bad. He dropped his gun, walked off the field, said he couldn't move his hand. It's pretty bad." Then I got a call from Derrek, "Ya I got Adam it's just a cut we are going to the hospital." JUST A CUT??? Well let's see after 2 Hospitals, 15 temporary stitches, A major surgery, 1 cut artery, 1nerve, some tendons, 2 cut muscles, 1 splint, 13 hours, and weeks/months of no working, driving, and some reconstructive therapy.... I'd say all we are missing is the partridge in a pear tree. Just a cut hu? First thing he said after he came out of surgery was..."I'm having a baby!" The nurse said, "you don't usually hear that when people first come out of anesthesia." Adam told every nurse, doctor, or passing citizen. So he's apparently excited! We will see how his hand does, we go back in next week. We are anxious to see the scar because the doctor had to cut it a few more times to get everything cleaned up.

Oh Baby Baby!!!

Yes, we are expecting... Again!!! Gunner and Baby #4 will be 15months apart. If anyone is looking for crazy... I think I swallowed a big dose of it! Not planned, but always welcomed. We are really excited. I have known for over a month now... and kept it my little secret until Thanksgiving when I told Adam and the rest of the family. It was fun to see everyone's reaction. On the way over to Grandma's house the girls asked if Jesus wanted to make Bishop Kerby not the Bishop anymore could he do that? Then they said what if Jesus wanted to make Bishop Kriloff the new bishop, we laughed and then Adam said, "If Jesus wanted to make me the bishop, I would be the bishop" Katie is not really happy about the whole idea of having a new baby. She kept asking if I was joking. I told her I wasn't joking and she started crying and said that it is not funner to have another baby. Poor Katie! Well After Katie made a fuss Adam pulled Katie aside, and said, "Katie remember how on the way over I said, if Jesus wanted me to be the new Bishop, I would? Well Jesus wants me to be a dad, so I am." I thought it was a good analogy. But Katie is still unsure. Maddi is so excited. She has been waiting for this day. About a year ago... Maddi went around and counted all the chairs in the house. Then she announced that we could have 18 children, because we had 18 chairs in the house. Funny Maddi! This is a little video of Katie being upset!

TWILIGHT

So I might be a little nerdy??

Maddi's Fall Festi"bal"

Maddi has been anxiously waiting for this day to come. She was up and dressed with the sun. She wanted to wear her camo clothes so all the boys would like her. One boy in particular. She had such a fun time, and Katie was so excited that the whole family got to go to school with Maddi!

Maddison's School Pictures

Maddi, who is now going by Maddison "because it is more beautiful" (I guess it's all those Fancy Nancy books we've been reading) got her school pictures back and is upset that they were taken before she lost her tooth and wants retakes. Too bad Mom doesn't agree with that!

Maddi's 1st "Loosed" Tooth

Maddi's tooth suddenly became loose tonight and she was so excited about it. She came running in saying that she is almost 6 now because she has a loose tooth. I asked her how she wanted to get it out. Pull it out, tie a string around it and yank it out, eat an apple??? She chose the apple method. So this is Maddi getting her tooth out. We actually have video of it coming out but it's on the camera that doesn't load onto the computer... so this is it.

Katie's Letter Foam

Katie got some "letter foam" from preschool. They got to use it on their desks at school to write their letters. She was so excited to come home and do letters. We got to K in the alphabet, and then Katie thought it would be more fun to draw pictures. So here is a little bit of a fun afternoon with the Kriloff's. Maddi and even Mommy and Gunner played in it a little... but I wasn't cordinated to get a picture of that. You'll have to ignore the messy house, it's been a month!!!
