It's BACK!!!!
The Cabin has been officially re-opened for the summer, so plan on many more posts of cabin trips. I hope to make it many more times before this baby is born.
Katie set up "Beauty Parlor" She hung a sign on the door that said, "No Boys Allowed" Then she went around and told all the boys that they couldn't come in, or else she would put makeup on them. She had a waiting room that she would call you when she was ready. And then she would do your makeup, hair, and then serve you tea (cabin water, and if you even drink a drop you will have the fastest colon cleanse you never saw coming), she also had a cash register. She was so funny. What an amazing little girl I have.

MY Great BIG Helper
I'm raising a wonderful little man! He loves to help around the house! Gunner loves to help with the laundry. He follows me in everytime. And as soon as I open the doors, he closes them. You can picture moving clothes from the washer to the dryer and having to stop every two seconds to open the door back up? Although when it finally gets in I let him put the dryer sheet in and close the door. He loves to help. Except when he pinches his finger...
Gunner loves to help with the dishes. Anytime I start them he runs right over and pulls anything I put in out. Or if I'm unloading it he likes to put things in like, crackers and boogers. He now has to sit in his chair while I do dishes.

A Few Katie Moments
Katie falls asleep reading a lot. She loves to read, and is so good at it. She fell asleep reading "The Little Princess" Yes a chapter book that Maddi got for her birthday, my four year old is reading it.
Katie got invited to a school friends birthday party. I was sad that I had to miss it, because of sick children, so I sent Adam and told him to take pictures. She is so beautiful. Well I think so anyway! Looks like they had fun!

A side note. She had her Follow up on her arm and one bone refuses to fuse! So she has to wear her splint still and do more excersizes. She hates that!
Track n Field
Maddi's TRACK n FIELD DAY
What mother sends her child to track n feild day wearing ALL white and a skirt?? A mother who lets her children dress themselves, so they can learn to be resposible for themselves and know that they have choices. This is one of Maddi's favorite outfits, so favorite that she already wore it at the begining of the week and made me wash it so she could wear it again.
Maddi was so sweet. At the end of Track n Field they handed out two orange slices to every child. Maddi waited so patiently in line and as soon as she got her's she braught one over to her sister. I love that my kids love eachother so much.

Little Side Note
Just a few things on my mind...
First I hate that people take months to update their blogs... don't they know they are a huge source of my entertainment! I do get the occasional, baby in the toilet, barf in the face, poop on the carpet, a little change of pace would be nice.
and Second I swear my baby tracker counts by two's. I check my blog at least twice a day, but somehow everytime I get on, it's down two days. I am so not ready to be the mother of four.

Why I love my children
The other morning I was having a little rough start. I was feeling grumpy and irritated when my door opened and a little envelope came flying in, then the door slammed shut. I picked up the envelope to find this, it was from Maddi... The next day I received another letter from Katie. Translation (Secret Admirer)
Inside was a picture of me and my handsome prince Adam. I have the sweetest little girls!

And then there's Gunner... the first thing he does in any room is go around a unplug anything plugged in. He's really just trying to save on the energy bills. However when it comes to my room he likes to knock everything off my night table and pull apart the bottle warmer. If you try to un-do his madness he will go right back over and fix it Gunner style!
Gunner has also learned how to answer the phone. He always says "Hallo Da" short for Dad... And everything or nothing can be the phone. If it rings it's the phone. He is also learning how to follow directions. He knows when we say no that he has to stop whatever mischeif he is into. He also will turn around to climb off the bed instead of nose diving. Although he mastered the art of climbing the stairs months ago, he has now learned how to slide down them as well. He answers "ya" when he wants something or throw's a fit when he doesn't. He says "Woo, Woo" whenver he see's or hears a dog. He says, Mum, Dad da, BaBa(Bottle), ya, Ba (Bath), chuck (truck), and shakes his head no, but only when he knows he is doing something naughty like getting into the water cooler. He is most always happy and follow's his routine well. What a great little baby!
Mari's Party
Another little treat!
I bet 90% of the furniture we own is all freebie, hand me down's. We are so lucky to recieve such nice things. This was a gift from our neighbor's and matches the bedroom perfect. I am so excited! It took some time to get used to, not because it's not beautiful... but because it was being stored in a garage with a stinky, rotting, maggott infested fish head. So we had to deodorize it a little first. Now it smells great!
Feeling UnAppreciated
I meant to blog about this gift from Heaven... well Lowes anyway... when we got these. Last year the washer and dryer stopped working, they were only 7 years old but were apparently burnt out. They weren't anything super fancy to begin with because I was single when I baught them and didn't have a lot of money. I guess they just couldn't keep up with us.
Well the replacement has been such a blessing. They don't heat up the house, they aren't noisy, they use half the water and energy and they can wash and dry double the loads! When we got them I told Adam I would blog about them right away, but never got around to it. Last week the washer must have been feeling somewhat unappreciated for all the hard work it does around here and decided to hold my clothes hostage. The door would not unlock. My mother in law bless her heart took me to the laundrymat where we did 10 loads in a 4load washer... so 40 loads of laundry in two hours. It was so amazing! This week the repair man fixed our washer and they are now up and running like crazy. This is one household appliance we can not live without. I'd give up the microwave before this. Hooray for washer's!!!

Chocopalooza Overload!!
We recently had a little girly chocopalooza with some ladies from the ward. You bring your favorite chocolate treat and share! It was so fun, and we laughed our heads off, while we stretched our waistlines! Or bum line in my case....
I of course made Chocolate Oreo Balls, so yummy... but I made about 6 dozen and unfortunately a few dozen still remain in my fridge. Help!!! they are taunting me, loving me, critisizing me, and making me feel absolutely wonderful and misserable at the same time. Could someone please rescue me from them?
More Maddi Birthday
