Kriloff Family OverloadMy brother in law, Court, is amazing with his camera. This is just a little hobby of his, he only does it for family right now, but he is so good.

We were so difficult to work with. Gunner wouldn't smile and was crying the whole time. Then Maddi and Katie wouldn't smile or hold still or look at the camera. It took us forever to even get what we got. Court was so patient with us.

Backyard campout Take2

Adam had another backyard campout and invited our friends Bryce, Anna & Porter. It was fun to see and hang out with them again. They all went swimming and had yummy smores Bryce made, had campfire and went to bed. Everyone slept outside except for Gunner and I. With as little sleep as I already get, I wussed out and slept inside. It was really fun. Hopefully we will have more friends next time.

Happy Birthday Adam

Happy Birthday to my Hunny!! There are so many people that love Adam, I think because he always wants to be everyone's friend, he is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone(and I mean anyone) This week alone he stopped everything to go help someone with a flat tire, gave a lady grocery money. Adam is always out for the fun of it. Everything is a competition, everything is a game. Adam is an honest worker, Adam loves to invent things, build things, and blow things up, test everything to the limit and play like there is no tomorrow. The kids love when dad picks them up from school because he has a game he plays, and it is so fun. Love you hun, I'm so lucky to be married to the funnest, toughest, smartest guy. Love ya Your wife

Okay, I obviously was too slow to make the post but here are some of my memories of Adam. When he and Felicia were dating, we all went to Utah along with my friend Eric. Adam was downing one Mt Dew after another and it wasn't long before he was bouncing off the walls. I think we banned him from drinking anymore. We were in G&G Peel's old car and the drivers' side window got stuck down and wouldn't come back up. We didn't know what we were going to do. We were all tired (except Adam on his caffeine high) and so we went and took naps. I woke up and couldn't find Adam so I looked out the window and saw Adam out in the parking lot with the car. He had taken the entire door apart and I almost crapped my pants. I was wondering how on earth we were going to fix it now. I wasn't sure if he knew what he was doing, but sure enough, he fixed it good as new. I was very impressed. Also, when we first moved into this house we bought a ceiling fan. Court's brothers and his dad literally spent hours trying to put this fan up and could not do it. Adam came over and did it by himself in 20 minutes. He was our new superhero! I also remember the huge smile on Felicia's face when she went on a motorcycle ride with Adam one fateful day! She loved Adam's sense of adventure and that he was always on "full throttle"! Adam has one of the best hearts of anyone I know. He's always fun to be around! Thank you Adam for making my sister happy! Happy Birthday! Love, Michelle

when i think of adam, i can't help but picture him walking out onto the paintball field in only a white, short-sleeved t-shirt and pair of shorts. what's significant is, despite the fact that he stands out like a sore thumb on the pball course, no one can ever seem to hit him! he is both fearless and invinsible! The thing I admire most about Adam is that he is always willing to help ANYONE in need. I can’t even remember all the times he has come over to help me with something, and I really appreciate that about him. Plus, the guy can fix anything! ANYTHING! He’s a genius! Happy Birthday Adam!

I have some great memories with Adam. One of the main ones is all the morning that we carpooled to Mt. View in his Fairmont. The front window was shattered so we drove in reverse the whole way! We didn’t just do that a couple times, it was like a whole semester. I also remember the time that he made me so mad (I can’t remember why) but I ran after him as fast as I could and right when I almost caught him he ducked and I did a front flip over him and landed on my back right in the middle of the road. I hated him for that, but now it’s a great story that we laugh about. I also remember one time we were boxing at Jon Brady’s house and he gave me a right hook to remember! Or to not remember because it knocked me clean out, it was awesome. I always thought of Adam as that older brother, because he was tough and wrestled and I knew he would stick up for me any time. Adam you’re a great friend!

Adam has been a good son. We are proud of the man he has become and we appreciate the hard worker he is. It is delightful to see him with his children and the genuine love he has for them. It is a sweet pleasure to hear his little ones call him “Daddy,” and to see them light up when he comes home.

Adam was my son that always enjoyed having the family together for Family Home Evening. We didn’t have FHE 100% of the time, but when we did Adam seemed to be the one to say “come on you guys” if the others were out of line. He seemed to especially enjoy FHE when Sean was on his mission. I remember when Sean sent home the first tape from his mission. We all gathered for FHE to listen to it and Adam was especially anxious. We listened to the tape and had a lesson on missionary work. During the lesson, Adam said, “Mom, I think I’m getting my testimony.” I told him it was the Holy Ghost telling him the things we talked about were true. It was a very sweet experience.

Adam had a testimony of prayer at an early age. He lost his brand new pocketknife just before leaving on his first campout. I helped him look and we couldn’t find it. I told him to pray and ask Heavenly Father to help him find it. It took a couple of times praying, but he did find it as a result of his prayers. I’m grateful that prayer has been a part of his life. A simple child’s prayer is actually the purest form of trust in Father we can have. If we only knew how powerful prayer was we would be amazed and never start the day without it.

Adam came home from Poston one day and said he wanted to be on the wrestling team. I was supportive until I went to the first match. I thought I was going to throw up when I saw my son out on that mat wrestling with the other boy. Adam was very good at wrestling and won that first match, as he did most of his others, but I was a wreck. Inside I was screaming, “let go of my son, you’re going to break his arm.” I never told Adam how hard it was to watch – it never became much easier as he continued to wrestle through junior high and high school. We were so pleased he worked so hard and even won the City Championship in his weight class one year. He even made “the wall” at Poston when he was undefeated during his 9th grade year. It is that determination to succeed and never give up, that will serve him and his family well.

Happy Birthday Sis

For my sisters birthday we went over to my mom's for lunch and had a little party. It was really fun and I'm glad we got to do it. Angela is such a great big sister. She hates it when my Dad calls her "Big Girl", but I have always looked up to her and been thankful to have an older sister like her. Angela is SO protective of her little sisters and always willing to help. She has been a lifesaver to me so many times.
When we were little Angela was usually the one who would choreograph our dance performances, or tell us how to play barbies. Angela is a great leader and project organizer. She is also really passionate about everything! My favorite memory of Angela is one night I wanted to scare Angela so I hid under her bed and waited for her. I waited nearly an hour while she read her scriptures, wrote in her journal, and said her prayers and got ready for bed. As soon as she settled in I reached my hand up under the sheets and grabbed her, she shot out of bed screaming and running for the lights. I laughed so hard. Mission Accomplished!
But what an example she was to me all my life of reading scriptures, saying prayers, writing in her journal, always working on her Young Womanhood recognition, listening to good music and always trying to follow the Savior. Thank You for being so incredible Annie, I love you, Happy Birthday!

Week in Review

My Cute Kids! It has been a very stressful week at our house but we survived.This is a conversation Katie and I had Friday night when we were driving home from the ward activity. She was extremely tired and upset that we had to go home.

Katie: I don't love anybody except Brigg. I don't love Mom or Dad or anyone else.

Mom: Oh ok, well if you don't love me, do I have to love you

Katie: No

Mom: oh so I don't have to snuggle you at night anymore.

Katie: You can snuggle me, but I am not going to snuggle you.

Mom: Ok Katie

Long Pause!!!

Katie:Well actually I think I do love you mom and I want you to snuggle me and I will snuggle you, and I love everybody.

Mom: Ok Katie that sounds good.

Anyone who has been to my house can attest to the fact that my children have free access to paper, coloring books, easels, chalk boards, dry erase boards etc. for coloring, drawing, painting... whatever. And they USE IT! We have chalks, markers, paints, pencils, crayons, you name it we got it. I love all the beautiful pictures I get all the time. But this particular picture was not drawn on paper or a board or a book... it was drawn on my carpet, with permanent marker. As creative as it is, it landed Maddi in time out for a long time today while mom got her cool.
